Ho voluto creare mensilmente dei pattern. A tema invernale per Gennaio, una volpe, una sciarpa, qualche indumento caldo, un coniglio e la neve. Per Febbraio, il mese dei cuori di S.Valentino, ho voluto creare un pattern ispirato ad un personaggio che ho creato di recente, molto esperto in amore. Uccellini, farfalle e tanti fiori, per l’arrivo della primavera di Marzo. Aprile è mese di pioggia, ma anche fiori, lumachine e il risveglio della natura. Tutti questi pattern li ho messi su capi per bambini e accessori, come ombrelli, cappelli, notebook e cartoleria.
I wanted to create monthly patterns. Winter-themed for January: a fox, a scarf, some warm clothing, a rabbit, and snow. For February, the month of Valentine’s hearts, I wanted to create a pattern inspired by a character I recently created, a true lover. Little birds, butterflies, and lots of flowers, for the arrival of spring in March. April is a month of rain, but also flowers, snails, and the awakening of nature. I’ve used all these patterns on children’s clothing and accessories, like umbrellas, hats, notebooks, and stationery.
Il pattern di maggio è dedicato a Capri! Ho immaginato una gelateria e sorbetteria in riva al mare, magari dove si preparano anche biscotti artigianali al limone. Gelati e sorbetti al limoncello accompagnati da un buon caffè napoletano. Ah, la Dolce Vita!
May’s pattern is dedicated to Capri! I imagined a seaside sorbet shop, perhaps even making artisanal lemon cookies. Limoncello ice creams and sorbets with a nice Neapolitan coffee. Ah, the Dolce Vita!
In estate ho partecipato con alcuni pattern alla challenge di Melanie Johnnson su Instagram. Ho realizzato diversi pattern per i prompt SPLASH, PALMS, PEARL, GELATO, LEMONADE, SWIRLS e creato alcuni mock-up per vederli applicati ad articoli da spiaggia, abbigliamento ed accessori.
Over the summer, I participated in Melanie Johnnson’s Instagram challenge with a few patterns. I created various designs based on the prompts SPLASH, PALMS, PEARL, GELATO, LEMONADE, and SWIRLS, and produced mock-ups to visualize how they would look on beachwear, clothing, and accessories.
